Stomps and Company handcrafts their charcuterie boards with simplicity in mind, using fallen trees from Athens, Georgia and wood from sustainable forests. Each piece captures the essence of nature's beauty and embodies movement and life.
Whether it is a Stomps and Company end-grain, edge-grain, or charcuterie board you should hand wash with mild soap and warm water, we recommend the 100% non-toxic Branch Basics cleaning soap, but you can use any non-toxic soap. Avoid using a dishwasher, as the high temperatures and moisture can damage the wood.
At Stomps and Company, we recognize that our boards cater to those who have a high appreciation for handmade and custom woodworks, so we offer a limited warranty on every charcuterie, end-grain, and edge-grain board we make. Our warranty guarantees that your purchase will be free from craftsman defects for a period of 12 months from the time of purchase, provided that you maintain your product adequately. If you received a board gift, you were required to register for the warranty.
To register or to obtain warranty services, please email: warranty@stompsandcompany.com
Stomps and the Company's warranty will be void should any of the following be discovered.
Items were put through the dishwasher, exposed to excessive heat or cold, physically modified, kept in excessive conditions of humidity or dryness, and physically abused or used for purposes other than what it was intended.
Store your charcuterie board upright in a dry, well-ventilated area. Hanging it is also a good option, as it prevents the board from coming into contact with potentially damp surfaces.
Avoid placing hot pans or dishes directly on the charcuterie board, as the heat can cause the wood to burn or warp. Always use trivets or hot pads to protect the board from heat.
Use 180-grit sandpaper and sand lightly to maintain the board's appearance. Sanding should only be done when you notice visible scratches or wear on the board's surface. Always use a wood conditioner after you sand.
Charcuterie boards are primarily designed for serving and presentation. While they can handle light slicing and chopping, it's best to use a dedicated cutting board (like any of our end-grain cutting boards) for heavy-duty food preparation to avoid excessive wear and potential damage to the board.
While Buckley's food-safe, all-natural board butter is recommended, you can use other high-quality wood conditioners as well. Just make sure the conditioner you choose is food-safe and suitable for wooden cutting boards.
Buckley's Board Butter is made with a harmonious blend of food-safe carnauba wax, beeswax, and mineral oil. The ingredients are all-natural and free from added chemicals.
